Megan Gordon is the manager of the Pembina Institute’s Equitable Transition program, where she develops solutions to addressing the socio-economic dimensions of a clean energy transition. Passionate about people-centered climate policy, Megan focuses on supporting workers and communities in adapting to a changing world. Before joining Pembina, Megan was a policy advisor with Environment and Climate Change Canada and contributed to academic studies on regional energy workforce transitions. She has hands-on experience undertaking consultations with communities impacted by both the coal phase-out and economic decline in the forest sector. Megan holds a Master of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies degree from the University of Northern British Columbia and a Bachelor of Public Administration degree from the University of Ottawa.
